Holidays in South Tyrol

It´s sure that during your holidays in South Tyrol it´s very difficult to get bored! This wonderful region of holidays in the mountains offers many well-equipped ski zones from November bis April, such as the famous "Dolomiti Superski" in the east and "Ortler Skiarena" in the west. Here the pleasure of skiing doesn´t end at dusk, as the most passionate skiers can quietly ski in the evening, as some ski- and chair-lifts are open from about 8 pm till 10 pm. The folklore fans should be present at the "Country Marriage" (Italian: Matrimonio Contadino, German: Bauernhochzeit) which takes place on the Alpe di Siusi (German: Seiser Alm, Ladin: Mont Seuc) every year the third Sunday of January…it´s possible to take part into the sumptuous banquet!
